Greek Keyboard
The Greek keyboard layout follows the usual United States layout for letters that have a counterpart in the Latin alphabet (ABDEHIKLMNOPRSTXYZ, ΑΒΔΕΗΙΚΛΜΝΟΠΡΣΤΧΥΖ, respectively). Moreover, visually or phonetically similar letters are also substituted (F and Φ, G and Γ), while the remaining slots are used for the rest of the Greek letters (J and Ξ, C and Ψ, V and Ω, U and Θ). As Greek has only 24 letters, the two remaining slots are used for the two accents, which, because they are used very frequently, have been set at the key for the semi – colon. The sigma used at the end of words is placed at W, while Q corresponds to the semi – colon (used as a question mark in Greek) and the colon.
