Migrant and refugee arrivals on the rise in early November

The number of  migrants and refugees arriving in the northern Aegean islands continued to increase this month, reaching 1,157 in the first 10 days of November, AMNA reported.

There were 705 recorded arrivals in the hotspots on the island of Lesvos in that time, while two more dinghies carrying approximately 80 passengers arrived on Friday but have not been officially recorded yet.

In the same period, 388 people arrived on Chios and 114 on Samos.
