ECBs Drudi says delays may complicate Greek review

ECB’s mission chief for Greece Francesco Drudi stated that ECB expects Greece’s third bailout review to start in the course of October after the IMF’s Annual Meetings. He stated that it is in the best interests of Greece to conclude it in a timely manner, while a number of parliamentary bills related to labour market, tax policy, revenue administration, which were adopted after the conclusion of the second review may not be in line with program commitments.

“Unfortunately, a number of parliamentary bills adopted after the conclusion of the second review may not be in line with programme commitments and will have to be assessed by our teams,” he said.
