Two World War II Bombs Defused West of Athens

Explosive experts defused two World War II bombs in Aspropyrgos, west of Athens on Sunday.

The two 500 lb bombs were discovered at an Air Force base during excavation work.

Police ordered people in surrounding areas to leave and cordons were placed around the evacuation area.
