According to Bank of Greece data, domestic banks’ reliance on Eurosystem stood at EUR 50.4bn at the end of July, lower by EUR 3.8bn compared to a month ago.

Direct ECB funding was lower by EUR 0.5bn m/m at EUR 15.8bn so the reduction came mainly from the ELA funding which stood at EUR34.6bn from EUR 37.9bn.

The drop of ELA funding suggests a positive trend on deposits during July.
