According to ATHEX July’17 statistical data, foreign investors’ participation in the total market capitalisation rose slightly to 65.7% vs. 65.4% in June’17 (62.4% incl. HFSF vs. 62.3% in June’17).
Foreign investors in July made 55.2% of total turnover (vs. 56.2% in June), while Greek retail investors (households) accounted for 17.9% (from 19.8% in June). Moreover, foreign investors recorded net inflows of €147m (from €45.8m in June’17) reflecting mainly Deposit-taking Corporations (€136m) and Insurance Corporations (€22m).
Greek investors were net sellers recording net outflows of €147m (from €45.8m in June’17), mostly related to Deposit-taking Corporations (€171m) and Non-Financial Corporations (€7m).
