Emir of Qatar Arrives on Skiathos on his World Famous Yacht (video)

Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived on Skiathos on Monday for a few days on his famous Al Mirqab yacht holiday. The arrival of the Sheikh became known by the yacht many call a “floating palace.”

Al Miqrab moored on Maratha Beach, under the emblematic Skiathos Palace Hotel.

Orders have already been given at the hotel to supply the yacht, while the Emir of Qatar will have dinner at the White View restaurant, with the spectacular view of Koukounaries Beach.

The rest of the royal family is expected to arrive on Tuesday at the Skiathos airport with the Royal Airbus.

Al Mirqab is one of the three most expensive yachts in the world. It is 135 meters long, it has two swimming pools, a heliport, a jacuzzi, a cinema hall and twelve suites.
