This Monday the Municipality of Volos is launching a campaign to microchip all of the stray dogs in the city.

City officials already sent out letters to the chiefs of all of the municipality’s constituencies to inform owners that they need to start following the law in place. The law states that all pet dogs have a microchip and are accounted for and if they are not able to afford getting their pets a microchip the municipality will step in and arrange for the procedure with a vet.
