Mission chiefs of Greece’s creditors are likely to change in the autumn, one year before the completion of the bailout program, a Kathimerini report says.

Declan Costello, chief representative of the European Commission for Greece’s bailout program, is likely to be replaced by Portuguese economist and ECFIN member Joao Nogueira Martins in September.

Costello’s departure from the Greek program is not confirmed, according to the report, but he is likely to be replaced by Martins, who had participated in Greece’s first bailout program.

Another EU official to depart from the Greek program is head of the Euroworking Group, Thomas Wieser, who will retire in January and leave the European Council, the report says.

At the same time, there is a big chance that the new government in the Netherlands will be formed by the end of August, and Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem will no longer be the finance minister, thereby he is likely to leave the Eurogroup chair. But in any case, the Dutch politician should be replaced at the beginning of next year as his term expires.
