TravelBird’s List of Cheapest Beaches in the World Includes Six Popular Greek Beaches

Good news for beach-goers on vacation in Greece — according to the online travel specialist TravelBird, Greece has some of the cheapest beaches in the world.

According to TravelBird’s annual Beach Price Index, six popular beaches in Greece make the cheapest beach list out of just over 300 beaches surveyed.

Navagio Beach in Zakynthos came in 210th position on the list, and was the most expensive of the cheap Greek beaches at a cost of around 25 euros. Following was Kokkini Paralia (Red Beach) in Santorini at 239 on the list, Gerakina in Chalkidiki came in 245 on the list, Elafonisi in Crete at 258, Plaka in Naxos was 264 and Paleokastritsa in Corfu came in at 275 and had the lowest price point of the Greek beaches at only around 18 euros.
