Six Richter Earthquake Hits South of Lesvos

An earthquake registering 6.1 richter has occurred in the Aegean sea near the coast of Turkey on Monday afternoon.

The earthquake occurred 36 kilometers southwest of Mytilene on the Greek island of Lesvos and had a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
