State Arrears to Private Sector Down in April

State arrears to the private sector eased to 3.908 billion euros in April, from 3.956 billion in March, the Finance ministry said on Tuesday, with pending tax returns falling to 1.051 billion euros in the month from 1.120 billion in March.

Social Insurance Organizations’ arrears to the private sector totaled 2.262 billion euros in April, from 2.311 billion in March, while state hospitals’ arrears fell to 600 million euros from 618 million euros, over the same periods respectively. Local authorities’ arrears fell to 354 million euros from 364 million in March.(Source: ANA-MPA)
