A recent poll conducted by Pulse for the news website Action24 shows that the main opposition party in Greece, New Democracy (ND) has a 13 point lead over the current SYRIZA government.
The poll was conducted immediately following the narrowly approved reform package by Parliament which was needed to conclude the bailout review and eventually grant another tranche to the struggling country.
The Pulse poll revealed that the conservative ND has a 30 percent rate of support from those surveyed against SYRIZA’s 17 percent. Also, the poll’s data showed that the nationalist party of Golden Dawn had 7 percent of support, PASOK 6.5 percent, and the Greek Communist Party (KKE) had 6 percent.
