Five Injured in Clashes Between Greek and Turkish Fans in Istanbul (video)

At least five fans of Olympiakos basketball team were injured on Friday in Istanbul during clashes that broke out between Greek and Turkish fans at Taxim square. Four people were detained.

According to reports, one of the five injured received a knife wound to the leg while a second sustained injuries to the face. They were then transferred to a hospital in Istanbul where doctors told them they were not at risk.

Olympiakos fans are in Istanbul for the Euroleague final four that starts today.
