New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is announcing changes in the educational system to divert people’s attention from the new measures the government will bring to parliament after its agreement with Greece’s lenders.“Just like he said once he will abolish the [unified property tax] ENFIA and tear up the memoranda now he’s implying that he will abolish the existing university entrance exams. With which system will he replace them? In what university halls will students enter, with what books and what professors?” he said, adding the prime minister behaves “irresponsibly and frivolously.”
