Constantinos Petrides Appointed Interior Minister of Cyprus

The Presidency has announced the appointment of Constantinos Petrides as Interior Minister. Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has also decided to appoint Vasilis Palmas in the position of Deputy Minister to the President, a position held by Petrides and Michalis Sophocleous in the post of Director of the Office of the President.

“The President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades has decided today on the appointment of Constantinos Petrides in the position of Interior Minister, Vasilis Palmas in the position of Deputy Minister to the President and Michalis Sophocleous in the position of the Director of the Office of the President,” a Presidency press release issued today says.
