Last Update: 20:42

There will be no trains running on the Labor Day holiday on May 1, including on the Proastiakos suburban railway line, following a decision by the Greek railway workers’ union to participate in a 24-hour general strike called by the General Confederations of Employees of Greece on the day.

The strike action will lead to the cancellation of some late-night services leaving at midnight on Sunday between Athens and Thessaloniki. The services setting off at midnight on Monday and arriving Tuesday morning will run normally.(source: ana-mpa)
