Greek Soldier Killed in Military Vehicle Crash

A Greek soldier was killed on Tuesday morning as the military vehicle he was driving crashed into the protective barrier in the median of the Athens-Lamia National Highway.

The driver was killed instantly and a passenger was injured in the collision. Traffic Police are investigating the causes of the crash.

According to witnesses, at around 8:30 am the vehicle veered off the road near the Malakasa junction, on the 50th kilometer of the Athens-Lamia National Highway, and crashed into the protective rails.
