The return of the institutions in Athens for the conclusion of the staff level agreement was decided on Friday during the preliminary meeting between the heads of the institutions and Greece΄s economic staff.

According to an EU official, the institutions will likely return next week, before the "We have results and I will brief the ministers on them," Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem on Friday said upon his arrival at the meeting of the eurozone Finance Ministers.

"We have worked hard over the last week and I will brief the Finance Ministers on the results. We have achieved results," he underlined adding that there will not be a comprehensive political agreement beyond the measures under discussion. Asked if there can be an agreement on the return of the institutions in Athens, he said that first the ministers will have to get informed and then announcements will be made. However, he said that the climate is positive.

"I am optimistic because progress has been achieved," Dijsselbloem concluded.
