Greek police on Monday arrested two burglars, while a third one plunged to his death during the chase, after they tied an elderly couple up in their home in Palaio Faliro

According to the police, four men of Georgian origin entered the couple’s home in the seaside suburb of Athens, tied them up and robbed them. However, the neighbors spotted them and called the police.

When police arrived on the spot, the four men fled through the rooftop. In the chase that followed, one of the burglars fell on the first-floor balcony and was killed. Police managed to handcuff two of them, while the fourth man ran away.

Police confiscated a bag full of jewelry stolen from the couple and a handgun.
