Head-on Motorbike Crash Leaves Two Teens Dead in Chania

Two teenagers, 17 and 19-years-old, died shortly before midnight on Friday evening in Chania. Their death is the result of a motorbike crash in which police are investigating the circumstances.

Sources have reported that the tragic event took place on a parallel road to the National Road Chania – Rethymnon, in the direction of Rethymnon.

The road is known for having bike races and police are unsure why the two teenagers bikes collided, resulting in the fatal accident. Initial reports have said that the two drivers were driving in the opposite direction of each other and that they died instantly.
