The United Nations annual World Happiness report has revealed that out of 155 countries, Greece ranks 87th in happiness. The report takes into consideration several factors which contribute to the happiness of a society, including income, social services, freedom, trust and life expectancy.
Over the past two years from 2014 to 2016 Greece has dropped in the ratings alongside other countries such as Venezuela and the Central African Republic, the report data shows.
At the top of the list for 2017 ranking the most happy were the Scandinavian countries with Norway in first place, followed by Denmark and Iceland.
