IMF is responsible that the labour relations issue remains open in the negotiations between the government and the institutions, said Alternate Foreign Minister George Katrougalos in an interview with Kontranews Sunday newspaper. "The IMF is the sole responsible because it insists on extreme neoliberal and anti-European positions" underlined Katrougalos estimating that this matter will close within the next month in order Greece to be included in the quantitative easing programme.

On the Turkish provocation, he said that Greece always seeks to have good neighbourly relations within the International Law and clarified that Greece will not retreat in national issues. Finally, Katrougalos called on EU to show in practice its solidarity to Greece at all levels.
