On Saturday night Panionios beat Larissa 1-0 on their home field. This victory puts the second-place team within a 3 point range of the Greek League‘s leader, Olympiacos.

The game’s one point was scored by striker El Fardou Ben Nabouhane in the first half of the game, leading Panionios to claim victory over Larissa, which is currently in 12th place in the league.

There is still a lot that can happen for Olympiacos this Sunday if they are able to beat visiting Atromitos or at least end the game in a draw. Such a win would result in the front-runner widening the gap between their team and Panionios.
