Last Update: 21:10

After much anticipation, the three songs that will be entered in the competition to represent Greece for Eurovision 2017, have finally been revealed.

Demy has been busy on location shooting videos for the three chosen tracks — all which have been co-written written by popular Greek musician Dimitris Kontopoulos — in the Ukrainian coastal resort of Odessa. This will be a great preview to pull Greece into the Eurovision mood and to become acquainted with the competing songs. Televoters will have the opportunity to vote on March 6th to determine the tune that Demy will perform in the second half of the first semi-final on May 9th in Kyiv.

The 3 songs as revealed by ERT are:

  • Angels(Music and lyrics: Dimitris Kontopoulos and Romy Papadea)
  • This Is Love

(Music and lyrics: Dimitris Kontopoulos, Romy Papadea and John Ballard)
  • When The Morning Comes Around

(Music and lyrics: Dimitris Kontopoulos and John Ballard)

Greece may have flopped last year with their Utopian Land entry, but the talk surrounding this year’s competition foreshadows Greece as being a Eurovision fav!
