Holy Synod to Hold Meeting on Religion Classes in Greek Schools in March

Starting on March 8-9, the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece will hold a discussion regarding how religion should be taught in Greek schools.

The discussion will focus on new stipulations that the Greek government has introduced regarding religion being taught at schools and the Church has created a three-member panel made of clerics that will be overseeing the new system and will evaluate their findings at the end of this school year.
