Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades is in Geneva for the start of three-day negotiations with the head of the Turkish-Cypriot community, Mustafa Akinci. Press reports claim that chances of an agreement are slim, however, there is pressure by foreign diplomats for a quick conclusion of the talks so that referendums can be held in Cyprus and the Turkish occupied north of the island.

Meanwhile PM Tsipras will brief today the leaders of all political parties regarding the negotiations on the Cyprus issue.
