Eurogroup chairman Mr. Dijsselbloem stated on Saturday that the talks about short-term debt relief measures would be resumed, following a letter he received from Greek FinMin, Mr. Tsakalotos, reaffirming the Greek government΄s commitment to reforms demanded, as part of the country’s third bailout agreement.

In particular, Mr. Dijsselbloem noted in a statement: "I΄m happy to conclude that we have cleared the way to go ahead with the decision-making procedures for the short-term debt measures, which will be conducted in January".

Also, EuroWorking Group, which may take place on January 12, will approve the implementation of the short-term debt relief measures, while the Greek FinMin reportedly hopes to conclude talks on reforms, fiscal gap, the course of primary surpluses after the end of Greek program, as well as the negotiations regaring medium and long-term debt measures, at the Eurogroup of January 26.
